Opening hours

Monday to Sunday from 08:00 to 16:30.

Between 12/01/2011 and 03/31/2012 the rental station in Alice Springs is closed on Sunday, Broome and Darwin branches are closed on Saturday and Sundays.

Between 05/01/2011 and 08/31/2012 the Hobart branch is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

All stations are closed on Holidays.

Minimum rental

The minimum rental for all vehicles is 7 days. Between 12/15/2011 and 01/05/2012 a minimum rental period of 10 days applies. Tijdens de Super Cheap Auto Bathurst 1000 (05-10-2011 tot 11-10-2011) en de Australian MotoGP Philip Island (12-10-2011 tot 18-10-2011) geldt een minimum huur van 10 dagen voor de verhuurlocaties aan de oostkust.

Driver's License and age

A valid national driver's license is required for each driver. If the driver's license is not in the English language then an international driver's license is also required. The driver's license must have been held for at least two years. The minimum age to drive the vehicle is 21 years and the maximum age is 75 years.

Deposit

AU$7,500 by credit card.

If All Inclusive package is selected: AU$250 by credit card.

Restrictions

• Pets are not allowed.
• Smoking is not allowed in any vehicle.
• Two Wheel Drive Vehicles can only be driven on sealed/bitumen roads or well maintained access roads less than 5 kilometers long to recognized campgrounds.
• Four Wheel Drive Vehicles can also be driven on recognized unsealed tracks but may only travel to the following remote areas with the express written permission of Apollo: Any Islands, Tasmania, Simpson Desert, Gunbarrel Highway, Cape York (North of Daintree River), Oodnadatta Track, Birdsville Track, Tanami Track, Gibb River Road, Kalumburu Road, Warburton Road, Strzelecki Track, Cape Leveque, Bungle Bungles, Plenty Highway and any other remote area. No Vehicle is permitted on the the Canning Stock-route, The Lost City in Litchfield Park, the road to Cape York between December and May, the Telegraph Road section of the road to Cape York or the last 2 kilometers of the Lennard River Gorge Road.
• Apollo reserves the right at its sole discretion to restrict vehicle movements in certain areas due to adverse road or weather conditions.
