Combination Special I

  • When you drop off a Backpacker motorhome and pick up a different Backpacker motorhome in another location at the same day, the cheapest day is for free.

Combination Special II

  • When you rent multiple motorhomes of Backpacker, you can combine these rentals for the Long Term rental rate.
  • You can combine between Australia and New Zealand, you do need to rent the motorhomes within a three month period.
  • For example, for a 21 day rental in Australia with Backpacker and a 20 day rental in New Zealand, you can count those days.

If multiple hires are within the same country and total days exceed 50 days only the maximum charge applicable to the Excess Reduction Option or the Backpacker Smart Package will apply. If combining a vehicle hire with another Backpacker vehicle that has a more expensive Smart Package or Excess Reduction Option, the more expensive Smart Package/Liability reduction maximum cost is applied.

Long Term Discount

  • When you rent the motorhome for 21 or longer, you receive 5% discount on the daily rate excluding Backpacker Smart Pack.
