Brisbane, Ballina-Byron, Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide en Perth:
Monday to Sunday between 09/01/2010 and 04/30/2011, from 07:30 am to 16:00 pm.
Monday to Sunday between 05/01/2011 and 08/31/2011, from 10:00 am to 16:00 pm.
Alice Springs, Darwin, Broome and Cairns:
Monday to Sunday between 05/01/2011 and 10/31/2011, from 07:30 am to 16:00 pm.
Monday to Sunday between 11/01/2010 and 04/30/2011, from 10:00 am to 16:00 pm.
Holidays
Pick up time
Pick up during opening hours, but before 15:30.
Drop off time
Drop off during opening hours, but before 15:30.
Transfer
Transfer is not included.
Minimum rental
Voor 2WD
- Minimum huurperiode is 5 dagen
- Minimum huurperiode voor one-way huur is 7 dagen
- Minimum huurperiode tussen 12/15/2011 en 01/05/2012 voor de 4, 5 en 6 Berth is 10 dagen
- Minimum huurperiode tussen 12/15/2011 en 01/05/2012 voor de overige voertuigen is 7 dagen
- Minimum huurperiode voor ophalen van een 4, 5 of 6 Berth tijdens de Bathurst race is 7 dagen
- Minimum huurperiode voor ophalen van een 4, 5 of 6 Berth tijdens de Philip Island race is 7 dagen
Voor 4 WD
- Minimum huurperiode is 5 dagen
- Minimum huuperiode voor one-way huur is 7 dagen
Driver's License and age
Driver needs to be in possession of a valid driver's license. Should a foreign license be in a language other than English it must be accompanied by a current international driving permit issued in the same country as the driver's license was issued.
The minimum age is 21 years. For drivers 75 years or over, a medical certificate stating that the customer is fit to drive for the duration of the hire is required.
Deposit
Een borg betaling is altijd verplicht bij Britz. De hoogte van de borg ligt aan de gekozen verzekering.
Wanneer er geen extra verzekering is gekozen is de borg AU$7500, te betalen met credit card.
Wanneer u verzekering optie 1 2WD heeft afgesloten: AU$2500 te betalen per credit card.
Wanneer u verzekering optie 2 2WD heeft afgesloten: AU$220 te betalen per credit card.
Wanneer u verzekering optie 1 4WD heeft afgesloten: AU$3500 te betalen per credit card.
Wanneer u verzekering optie 2 4WD heeft afgesloten: AU$500 te betalen per credit card.
Restrictions
- 2WD campervans can only be driven on sealed/bitumen roads. The only exceptions to this are wellmaintained
access roads of less than 12 kilometres to recognised campgrounds and well-maintained,
recognised roads on Kangaroo Island (South Australia). Should a customer wish to travel on an unsealed
road that is greater than 12 kilometres in length to access a recognised campground special permission
can be arranged pending road condition, weather and distance. Please contact your local representative
to discuss.
- 4WD campervans and cars can also be driven on recognised unsealed roads.
- 4WD vehicles may only travel to the following areas with the written permission of Britz (please contact
the local branch for further information): Simpson Desert, Strzelecki Track, Gunbarrel Highway, Cape
York, the Bungle Bungles, Oodnadatta Track, Birdsville Track, Tanami Track, the Plenty Highway, Gibb
River Road, Burke Development Road from Chillagoe to Normanton and Savannah Way from
Normanton to Borroloola, Fraser Island, Finke Road (between Alice Springs and Oodnadatta), Central
Arnhem Road and Arnhem Land in general.
- Vehicles are NOT permitted to travel on the Canning Stock Route, the Lost City in Litchfield Park, the Old
Gunbarrel Hwy, the Telegraph section of the road to Cape York, Boggy Hole (Finke Gorge National Park)
and the Old South Road from Maryvale to Finke, at any time.
- Vehicles are NOT permitted to travel to Cape York between the months of December to May. At all other
times permission is required.
Britz reserves the right at its sole discretion to restrict vehicle movements in certain areas due to adverse road or weather conditions, and the distance to nominated destinations in relation to the length of the hire period.
