With the purchase of the windscreen waiver, the hirer is not responsible to pay in the event that the windscreen needs to be replaced (first windscreen only).
With the purchase of the tyre waiver, the hirer is not responsible to pay in the event that tyres needs to be replaced (up to max of two tyres per rental).
A bond of AU$ 2000 or AU$250 (depending on chosen insurance) is payable by an open signed credit card imprint with an authorization obtained (sufficient funds must be available) for the chosen amount (depending on chosen insurance). Only Mastercard & Visacards are accepted for obtaining the bond - you also have the option to use a credit card from a third party as long as a credit card authorization form has bee filled out.
The amount of the bond is blocked on your credit card for approx. 10 business days- and will then be released.
Please note: Personal items are not covered under vehicle insurance. We recommend you do not leave your valuables in your vehicle because of possible theft. We strongly recommend that all hires take out their own travel insurance.
