Included in the rental rates is an insurance (CDR: Collision Deductible Reduction) with $5 million third party liability.
In the event of loss or damage to the vehicle, whether or not due to the fault of the Renter, the Renter’s responsibility (provided the vehicle is used in accordance with the rental agreement) is limited to a maximum of $5,000 per occurrence except as outlined under “limited coverage”.
There is no limit, however, if vehicle incurs loss or damage as outlined below under “losses not covered”.
VIP reduces the deductible in case of an accident. Please see chart below.
In addition to the reduction in the damage deductible, VIP also covers incurred expenses of up to $250/day in the event of a mechanical breakdown of the vehicle which requires more than 12 hours to repair.
Mechanical breakdown does not include malfunction of the radio, cassette, CD, TV, VCR, DVD, air conditioner(s), generator, refrigerator, cruise control or breakdown due to accident, whether or not the Renter is at fault.
Traveland RV Rentals is not responsible for any additional refund over and above $250/day per vehicle – If mechanically broken down, meaning vehicle is not drivable.
Included expenses can consist of hotel charges, car rental or any other incidental or consequential cost in the event of a breakdown to a maximum of $250/day per vehicle.
All insurance coverage is VOID if all loss and damage (REGARDLESS OF HOW IT HAPPENED) is not reported immediately to police and to TRAVELAND RV RENTALS.
All claims must be submitted with a complete written driver’s report.

LIMITED COVERAGE:
Collision with overhead objects, undercarriage, tires & wheels damaged by
hitting road hazards/objects on the road. Any damage occurring in parking
areas or while backing up.
Theft of any rented accessories or equipment.

FULL COST OF REPAIR $600 $0
LOSSES NOT COVERED:
Damage caused by overheating or freezing of any vehicle system. All
damage to the interior of any vehicle. Any damage caused by failure to use
specified fuel, travel in restricted areas and any infraction of the terms in the
rental agreement. Any damage to or loss of awnings. Any loss or damage
not immediately reported to police and TRAVELAND RV RENTALS.
